I’ve written this blog about six different times, but no words seem to really capture how much I loved this wedding.  You’ll remember Rachel from her shower a few months ago where the love for her and Jeff was oozing out of the room–I couldn’t believe it was possible, but that seem feeling was amplified on their wedding day last weekend.  The first nice spring day of the year just happened to fall on their wedding day and you could tell how excited everyone was for sun and for this newly joined family.  I met Rachel and her girls (AKA: most fun bridal party ever) at the hotel where Victoria from Will Charles Salon was putting the finishing touches on their hair and makeup as family members dropped by to say hi.  And every single person that entered that room pulled me aside to tell me how special they thought Rachel was-and they were right.  There is just something so special about this girl.  And being able to capture the memories of her on her special day made my heart happy.  The ceremony took place at the Canoe Club, where I can’t say enough nice things about the staff there.  Rachel was cracking jokes up the aisle, I’m 99.9% certain Jeff was tearing up (as the bride had hoped), and the two exchanged vows while the sun set.  It couldn’t have been more perfect.

So I’m going to stop jabbering and just get to it.  Here is Vera who greeted me at the door.  Baby girl was so adorable and excited for her mama’s big day.

These girls crack me up.  Is it weird that I wish I was the 4th bridesmaid?

I picture these two together cracking jokes and making one another laugh just like this for the next 80 years+.

Rachel, Jeff, and Vera–I can’t thank you enough for letting me be with you on this day.  I hope you are having just as much fun today as you did at your wedding.  I’ll see you at Christmas since I’ve officially decided I’m being adopted by your family (sorry, Mom!) because I just can’t say goodbye!!!
