I first met Jenn about 8 years ago (yikes, that sounds old!). We were at the Boston Wine and Food Expo on a random midweek day where we shoved lots of cheese and appetizers in our mouth and slugged down every free glass of wine we could get our hands on. We somehow ended up across the street at the Squash Club where we stayed until all hours of the night touring the crazy space that I didn’t even know existed. (Are squash clubs a New England thing? It totally blew my mind and I felt like I was entering some alternate universe where people cared more about squash than football–which in Tom Brady Land is pretty hard to come by. I mean, who plays squash? And who dedicates an amazing HUGE brownstone building downtown to the sport? Now that I’m thinking about it again, I’m actually wondering if I made up this night in my dreams. Did this really happen, Jenn?) Fast forward to a few nights ago, and Jenn and I spent another night in Boston together where we discussed how we are up until all hours of the night, but for very different reasons. Jenn, her hubs, Jaime, and adorably sweet baby boy met me in the Boston Public Garden to get some pictures taken in honor of Weston’s first birthday before she has ANOTHER little baby boy in just a few weeks! I absolutely loved catching up with her and seeing her as a mama. Her boys love her so much and I know how happy she is to add another in the mix and see little Wes have a new best bud.
Here’s little Weston. I love everything about this kid, but mostly I love his chunky little legs. Aren’t they the cutest?!?

Jaime is such an awesome dad. He kept Wes laughing the entire session (even when me and his mommy were just gabbing and catching up!)

Seeing your friends be parents totally melts me. Sweet, sweet Jenn.

You know, there’s lots of really adorable places to take pictures of little girls in all their pink and lace, but finding spots that are cute and boy friendly are not as easy. Good thing this ice cream truck was parked right outside the garden and we only had to wait 100 minutes for people to stop walking by and for little Wes to not run into oncoming traffic to get the shot! (The kid is fast!)

A big thank you to the mom who made her kids wait to touch the ducks until we were done photographing! Of all the time I’ve photographed the ducks, that’s the first time that has happened! You go random mom! Whoever you are!

Blue steel-Weston.

I just love this little family–thank you, Jenn, for getting back in touch. It has been wayyy to long. Let’s get the boys together soon!
