Oh hi there!  We’ve got a JCP blog professional back up today.  Little Sydney may get a nomination for most appearances on this blog ever.  There may be some slight competition from one or two others, but for sake of this post, I’m going to go ahead and give her the award.  Woohoo Sydney girl!  You’re famous.  You win!  And last year when I posted her sweet face, it was on the same day her mom told me she was going to be a big sister.  And here we are, almost a year later and little Max is in this world and ready for his photo debut.  If you saw the post yesterday, you know how happy we are that Max is here.  Adam, Max’s dad, is one of Alex’s best friends.  The two of them grew up playing every sport you can imagine together.  They were one another’s biggest teammate and probably also biggest competition.  I think in their heads, the birth of both Max and Leo so close in age will create a legacy for the two of them to live vicariously through these babies.  (Although I secretly hope that Leo ditches the sports balls and becomes the lead singer in a band and sports skinny jeans and a man bun…I don’t foresee it in his genetic makeup, but here’s to hoping!)

Adam and Kim make having two kids look amazingly easy. I mean look how great Kim looks in these pictures hanging onto her FOUR month old like she didn’t just have him herself.  How does she do that?  I want to say really nice things about Kim on this blog, but I know it’ll make her cringe reading about herself, so I’m just going to go ahead and tell you all how lucky I am that Adam found her.  When I first met her, I assumed she’d be a snob because she is super model gorgeous, and super smart, and dresses really well (and on and on) and while she is all of those things, she also has a huge heart and the ability to make everyone feel included and important.  It’s one of my favorite things about her.  But I’ll cut it off there because I know she’s probably hoping I’ll stop.

Here she is with her little man.  It was a little chilly so we had to warm little Adam, I mean, Max up.

There’s something about this pose–all my three year old girls love to do it without prompting.  It must be hip at daycare.

2015-11-11_0002.jpgJust when I thought Max was starting to look slightly more like Kim, I had to go take this picture.  Kim, I fold.  He’s Adam’s mini-me.

For the first few years of her life, Sydney was terrified of Alex.  More recently, she seems to have a little sweet spot for him.  I love the way she looks up at him in this picture. (Have I mentioned I made Alex and Leo assist me on this shoot?  Thanks guys!)

Sydney was one of the first babies in our little circle and will always hold a special little spot in my heart.  I think I’ll be calling her baby girl until she’s 18.

Love you guys!  Thanks for letting me capture another year.
