Hello, hello! I’ve got a couple of cuties on the blog today. Meet Sara and Tony. One of my 2016 couples that I get the honor of shooting. I’m sooooo excited for their Bridgton, Maine wedding next summer. First, because I’ve got a special place in my heart for Bridgton and second, because it’s going to be at a camping ground with wood fired pizza and bonfires and all the things I wish I had done at my own wedding. I’ve already been up to visit the property once and plan on going again during the year just so I can torture myself in anticipation. But while we wait, why don’t I tell you about these two? Sara and Tony are completely crazy. Not what you thought I was going to say, did you? Well, it’s the truth. You see, long before they got engaged, Sara and Tony met Sauce who ran crazily around Sara’s mom’s property and out into the street where Tony had to go chase him after doing a whole host of other really annoying things, as per usual. That was the first, and only impression they had of me and they STILL booked me to photograph their wedding. Actually, I’m lying. We met a second time to discuss their wedding plans where I pretty much swooned over every detail they gave and had my fingers crossed the entire time hoping that they’d pick me to be their photographer. And lucky for me, they are crazy enough to actually book a rambunctious dog owner who practically begged them to photograph their wedding. Woohoo!
Sara and Tony wanted to do their engagement session at Arnold Arboretum, where they were engaged. I had never been but have seen about a billion engagement sessions online from that same venue. But I like that Sara and Tony made this shoot their own. We started out at the tree where Tony asked Sara to marry him.
I mean, they are adorable together, am I right?
I didn’t even really have to pose these two. They just are so in love they are just cute like this all the time (although they were SO good at posing I do sort of wonder if they had a practice session before hand.)
