It finally is starting to feel like winter over here in New England and I have to say, I am not happy about it.  Cold weather and ice make everything seem so much more difficult.  For example, we have no food in our refrigerator because I’m lazy it is so difficult to pack myself up and the little guy and get to the store.  Good thing Alex is away on business because Leo and I have been living on graham crackers and Nutella for the past week which I’m sure would get a shameful head shake from the big guy if he knew.  But you know what, I don’t even care.  Alex is jet setting for work and eating dinners after 5:00 and flying on planes alone with hot coffee/cocktail in his hands and probably napping on the flight and doing all those things that I used to take for granted before I had a child, so I’m declaring crackers and hazelnut spread totally acceptable food groups.   (And for all the times I have had to walk the dog while he’s out, stopping to get cannolis on the corner to wash it down, also totally fine.)

I know the holidays are over, but I still have some sweet little faces and families to share with you that I took in early January.  We are going to start with Rosie.  Rosie is a super talented photographer, so when she called me to take some pictures of her baby bump before her little man arrived, I was flattered (and also intimidated–nothing more stressful than photographing a photographer!)  And for being just a week out from her due date, Rosie not only looked amazing, but was so relaxed.  We met up at Rosie and Brant’s home and got some fun shots of them and soon-to-be big brother Graham, who may be the most excited about this baby’s arrival.  I was totally crushing on Rosie’s decorating style.  I think I can hear West Elm swoon over this house through my computer screen.
