Happy Friday!

I’m going to cut right to the chase today and introduce you to my beautiful new friend, Nora.   You met Nora’s family this summer at the beach before I even knew she was coming into the world.  Way back when her big brother, Ethan, looked like just a baby himself.  But here we are, 7 some months later, and Ethan not only got promoted to big brother, but also grew a full head of curly little locks and an expanded vocabulary that could rival a seventh grader.  We met up on a rainy, drizzly Saturday morning, but Ethan opened up the door with the biggest grin and was so excited to introduce me to his new baby, Nora.  If the stereotype is that second children are laid back, little Nora definitely got the memo.  At six weeks, she was so go-with-the-flow that I’m not sure if she even made one single sound while I was there.  I hope I get that lucky.

Julie and Ross have taken on their new role of parents to two like complete rockstars.  Did I mention that since the time you saw them last, they also moved from their downtown condo to an amazing house in the suburbs, did a complete reno, and still manage to lead one of the most exciting lives out of anyone I know complete with vacations and fancy/fun adult dinners? They’re my idols and I would be lying if I tried denying the fact I was picking their brain the entire shoot about how they manage to pull it all off.

Nora, I love you to pieces already!  Julie, you are a beautiful mama.  Thank you for forging the way into parenting two for me. I’m thrilled for your new family, new house, new life!  We’ll have lots of fun together next year (if we’re both still standing!)
