Ok, I’ve started and restarted writing this blog a few times and nothing seems right to talk about. It could be because I’m just getting back from two nights away from my babies where I photographed an amazing wedding and am so tired, my brain feels like mush. Or it could be because thirty minutes after I walked in the door and we welcomed 8 of Leo’s best friends, 4 of their siblings and all 16 of their parents to our house for a joint 2nd birthday party (which is basically Leo’s 4th birthday celebration). But somehow I got nothing good to tell you BESIDES how absolutley sweet the couple I’m about to introduce you to is.
After talking to Christina on the phone, I had a prediction she was one of two things: a Disney princess who I pictured wearing glass high heels and feeding birds out of the palm of her hands while she sang happy tunes every morning…or a preschool teacher, because really, those two jobs seem like they are fit for the exact same person. And my prediction was correct–my sweet, sweet Christina does teach preschool, and is seriously as gentle, humble, and beautiful as any princess Walt Disney could ever imagine. We spent a recent sunny fall afternoon strolling around Melrose together with her fiance, Skyler, who I adore. He plays guitar and is just so loving to his girl, and played along with whatever we asked him to do. I cannot wait for their wedding next year–it is bound to be beautiful, musical, and so fun. And I’m keeping my fingers crossed Skyler will strum a few tunes for us–pleeeeeeeeease!?!?
Just look at them…
Ahhhhhhhhdorable.
You guys–you make me so happy. I just can’t wait to see you again!!
