Being asked to photograph someone’s wedding is such an honor. You get to hear details about all the planning, the dress, the surprises, and on the day of, you are intimately connected with both the bride and groom and their families. By the end of the experience, I feel such a part of it all, it’s sad to pack up and leave at the end of the night. Carrie and Brandon‘s wedding was truly a labor of love. They were married on Brandon’s family property in New Hampshire, and both sides of the family had a hand in creating this magical day. From the meticulously manicured landscape, under the direction of Brandon’s dad, to the shabby chic table runners, sewn by Carrie’s mom, every detail was made with love. When I showed up that day, both families were putting the finishing touches on the grounds and working together to get it all done. And shockingly, everyone was incredibly calm. It was so special to see two families come together to create this special day in honor of Carrie and Brandon’s love. I feel very lucky to have been a part of it!

My gorgeous, gorgeous girl.

I love a first look. It gives the us much more time to get formal shots and bridal shots done so the bride and groom can enjoy their wedding. Carrie and Brandon were game and we found a great little dirt road.

The bodyguard, Bodie.

There was a crazy sunset behind the property. A big thanks to the VIP of the wedding, Brandon’s brother, who cut down a tree so we could make it back to the field!

Carrie and Brandon, thank you for being up for anything! It was so much fun to be able to spend this day with you and your families.
