So we moved!  If you’ve been following us on Instagram, you’ve got to see little snippets of our new place.  And we did the opposite of what everyone expected us to do.  Instead of moving to the ‘burbs with two kids and a dog and a yard and all the things that probably make sense, we moved further IN to Boston in a condo with lots of stairs and no parking.  BUT WE LOVE IT.  We traded in some conveniences for inconveniences, yes, but the lifestyle we gained is so perfect for where we are in our lives right now.  We are surrounded by a number of really nice kid-friendly parks and we go to a different one every day.  We take the bus and the train all the time, which to a 2-year-old boy is pretty much the best thing in the world.  We walk everywhere and we love it.  The charm of the city was calling our names, and we are so happy to be back.

Part of what I love about being back is that we are within a short walking distance to so many of our friends who are still holding strong in the city, friends like Michelle, Sean, Stella, and sweet little EJ.  You’ve seen this family on the blog before and I must say that I absolutely adore that Michelle makes pictures a priority.  She booked this session with the one goal of capturing all of little EJs rolls, dimples, and gummy smile before they vanish.  Michelle knows how fast this chubby phase slips away so being able to memorialize it forever is a task that makes me so happy.  Last week, EJ started crawling so I’m sure he has already thinned out from when we took these pictures at the beginning of the month.  Time, why do you go so freaking fast!?
