Remember when I told you my girl, Stella, was going to be a big sis?  Well her adorable baby bro, EJ, finally arrived and I was thrilled when I got to see them both in the hospital for my very first Fresh 48 session.  It’s no secret that I absolutely loved my time in the hospital with both my boys.  Maybe it’s the fact I got waited on hand and foot, or the fact that my only purpose there was to just snuggle up with my teeny tiny brand new little babe (and then push the button to send them off to the nursery so I could snooze for a few hours), but I would have stayed forever if they would have let me.  So getting to go back and watch a family in the first few hours was so special to me, especially when it was with a family that we absolutely adore.

If there is any bit of advice I can offer to new parents, it’s to take pictures IN the hospital.  You’ll feel gross and tired and not want to get in front of the camera at all, but it’s the place where you welcome your new little one, and the first few hours are just so magical.
