Why hello there, darlings,
Today I have to send out a very special bit of gratitude to Her Royal Highness, Princess Kate, for waiting until this very week to announce her pregnancy with her second baby. You see, the reason why it works out absolutely perfectly for me is because today I get to introduce you and that little royal baby that Kate is cooking in her belly to his/her future sister-in-law. Yes, little Paige was born a few months after Prince George and it was officially decided (by Paige’s Nana, Karin) that the two would be wed and Princess Paige would someday be crowned Queen of England. So remember this sweet little face because you will be referring to her as Her Royal Majesty.
Second only to Prince George, little Paige may possibly have been THE most anticipated baby in all the world. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Paige’s Nana for five years before she decided to abandon me to spend her days babysitting this little peanut. But before she did, we had not only a countdown to baby’s birth, but “Daily Paige” updates with pictures after she was born. Nana is in love and enamored by her little granddaughter, and I can’t say I blame her. Paige is adorable and sweet and I would want to spend all my time with her, too! I miss “Nana Karin” so much, but am thrilled she gets to take care of this sweet little thing instead of telling people they double parked or were tardy for school.
Karin asked me over to surprise her daughter and son-in-law with pictures for Paige’s first birthday. Karin only want a few of Paige in her birthday dress, but when I opened up the door and Paige greeted me in polkadots and a navy tutu that matched her beautifully decorated home that happened to also have amazing light, there was NO way I was leaving without at least 7,654 pictures in tote.
Here are a few!
Stealing some shots in Daddy’s chair.
This child is absolutely related to Karin, for sure. Instead of her toys, Paige picked pearls to play with when we gave her the option.
Practicing for her future throne.
And then Nana broke out Paige’s birthday dress. I have never seen a one-year-old face light up more at the sight of clothing. Paige LOVED this dress.
Little Paige tiptoes around like an adorable little ballerina. It is so stinkin’ cute!
Then we got some pics of Paige being Paige. Love these.
Paige’s parents and grandfather are HUGE golfers. Her little onsie says “I’m told I like golf” (and I’m wondering if they sell those in adult sizes because I’m told the same thing!) Paige’s grandfather brought back these little golf shoes and the golf hat for his little girl after a trip to the Masters.
THOSE EYES!
Paige and George…have you ever seen a face so in love?! (A sure sign that she’ll be in love with the other George, too!)
Nana…great gift! So fun spending time with you and the future Queen!
And a very happy birthday, baby girl!!!
