So I’ve been posting a ton of teasers lately but not many actual blogs. Have you noticed? Do you feel deprived? Probably. Or I’ll go ahead and pretend you do anyway. You probably think it’s because I’ve been taking some family time off? Cuddling up on the couch with my babies and watching Christmas movies while stringing popcorn, and caroling, and decorating my perfect house in red and green? Addressing Christmas cards and wrapping all of my presents which I’ve obviously already purchased? Yes? That’s the image that I plan to paint into my head and tell my boys we did when they are older since I think they are still too little to have memories. In reality, my shopping is still not done, cards, not ordered, and work seems busier than ever! I have been shooting like a mad woman and editing, but the blog has fallen behind and, in honesty, I have been addicted to watching The Walking Dead, and blogggin while watching zombies just doesn’t work well. But 2017 blog is going to be filled with so much goodness you are going to love it! Just wait…
I am getting a few Christmas sessions posted before signing off for the new year and starting with Paige‘s sweet little Mommy and Me session. I loved this session, and not only because I got to eat candy and help build gingerbread houses. I wish that I could give every mama in the world an hour of my day capturing them and their little one playing and reading together. And I’d like to, someday, have photos like this taken of me and Leo and Nico. But I’d like to take my photos in Paige’s house because her house is much more put together than mine. Actually, I’d like to move IN to Paige’s house. It’s big enough that I don’t even think she’d notice 4 extra humans and one ill-behaved dog roaming around, would you Paige?
Cozy on up and take a look at three very inspirational friends of mine…
Waterbreak.
Sugar rush break.
And then we forced Nana to get in on the fun. Three generations of fashion and fun right here.
Too many gumdrops!
Kristin–you are so strong and so brave and such a great mommy—I think it must run in the family! Thank you for letting me capture these moments!
