Maybe it’s because she was the first newborn I ever photographed.  Maybe it’s because I’ve taken her pictures at 6 months and one year, and again now.  Maybe it’s because I just want to gobble her up every time I see her.  But I just feel like little Sophia is mine.  I have adored watching her change and grow over the last 20 some months.  She has this adorable personality and I feel so lucky that I get to be the person who documents this sweet little face.  And I’m always in awe when I see her parents at how under control they always have everything.  I probably didn’t appreciate it when I didn’t have a child, but every single time I’ve seen them, they always just have it all together, including five days after Sophia was born.  They have this calmness about them and I feel like they live such a quiet, perfect, loving little life together.  How lucky am I that I get to be a part of it?

Here’s an example.  Early morning photo session during rush hour traffic?  No problem.  Jim, Nicole and Sophia were there looking gorgeous and ready ahead of schedule and even practiced some smiles with Sophia along the way.  Love this family.
