Oh, Miss Stella, howwwww are you one? It honestly feels like just yesterday I was admiring your mommy’s choice of wallpaper for her curio cabinet and listening in disbelief as your daddy told me his plans to continue golfing every weekend during your newborn session. And here we are, one year later, capturing all your adorable little expressions sitting next to a giant 1 balloon looking like a grown up! It is just so crazy how fast time can go, isn’t it? And I have to tell you how happy I am to do the one who gets to capture your sweet little face.

I don’t know if my clients realize how being asked to photograph their families year after year means to me. I love to watch families grow and change. And moreover, when families refer me to their friends, like Stephanie did to her friend Legia, it is the biggest compliment. Knowing friends and family members of my clients helps me tell your story better as I can see how each person fits in to your life. I got to hang with Stephanie and Zach the weekend prior at Legia’s wedding and hear all about Stella’s year, and seeing them again for this session was just the icing on the cake. These two nailed the parenting game, even making more time that I anticipated for golf, which makes Zach my husband’s hero.
