Whyyyyy hello!
How’s life for you? Fabulous, I hope. Why? because it is fab-u-lous for me! See, I finally sent in for reinforcement and my parents arrived in Boston today saving me from my ten-day solo parent gig. Honestly, they came right when things got easier because SCHOOL started back up today for little Leo and they both go back tomorrow—hallelujah! But I’ve got a big wedding on Friday and I’m going to see OPRAH Thursday night so they are saving me from scrounging or sitters, thank you very much. And just knowing that I’ve got back up whenever I need it makes me feel wonderful about life.
I’m sharing on the blog tonight a family session that I adore. It started off with some photos of my girl, Lindsey, her two adorable girls that you’ll remember, her mother and her grandmother, who were visiting from Canada. I love that I had 4 generations in one picture, something I hope everyone who is able to, gets photographed. It was such a treat to meet Lindsey’s mother and grandmother because I know how special the time is when mine are here. I imagine it’s even more special when family visits from further away.
We then strolled around the North End to get photos of Lindsey, Wes, Mary and Olive and Lindsey’s perfect styling choices. Give me a mom in a fur, a baby in a bonnet, and a toddler in a peacoat and a dad that doesn’t kill us for dragging him out of work midday and letting us take pictures of him during his lunch hour, and I’m one happy photographer. I absolutely love this family and am so happy they’ve come into my life because I plan to hang with them alllllll the time.
Here’s a few from our generation session…
And a few outside their house in the North End.
I love this pic. Doesn’t it just scream “I’m a first born, stop paying attention to the baby!”
Can’t wait for you to see the rest. Thanks for letting me in on this very special visit. Love you guys!!!
