“You are going to LOVE them” is the text I got from my friend, Katie, who referred me to her cousin, Jenna, and her fiance, Trey, who booked me for their wedding in NY this summer.  Of course I would love them, I love all my couples.  But what Katie didn’t mention to me was that these two would have me laughing our entire engagement session.

We met up while I was back home over Easter and had the day picked, but I carefully watched the sunrise and sunset times to make sure we got some gorgeous golden light for their session.  The Friday before was shockingly gorgeous and warm(ish) for NY in March so I was ready to go on Saturday.  I woke up to some beautiful sunshine and killed time before the session by taking the boys to every Easter egg hunt I could find in WNY.  As the hours crept away, so did the sunshine which, by the time we met up, was completely hidden behind big rain clouds.  And not only that, there were wind warnings for the exact time we were supposed to meet.  I was bummed.  But Jenna and Trey jumped out of their jeep happy as clams and weren’t bothered by the little light and told me they weren’t worried about the wind.  They were game for anything.  I like that about these two.  And Mother Nature made up for her bad behavior by leaving the Canandaigua Lady docked at the pier and made sure no cars were parked anywhere near her (because most sane people were not hanging out by the water during the wind storm).

I left Jenna and Trey with a belly ache from laughing so hard and at least two extra laugh lines. These two are so fun I feel as though TLC should give them their own reality show.  I swear it’d top the charts!
