So this is so interesting. I’m wedged at a tiny table at Starbucks doing work and am sitting between a first date of a middle aged couple on the left and between three high school aged girls on my right (who just splurged for some super emo maroon/black lipstick that I am certain–or hoping–their moms make wash off their faces immediately) and I’m not sure which table to eavesdrop on more. The blind date seems to be going well–except Mr. Man keeps pulling out his cell phone and I want to yell at him to put it away because the beautiful woman he is sitting across from seems, rightfully, annoyed when he does. But they just made a date for a second date for dinner and wine so it couldn’t have annoyed her that much. Woohoo! Maybe it’s love? The girls to my right have taken at least twenty selfies of their new lipstick and are posting on snapchat–which I still don’t understand, and are talking about their high school crushes. I’m intrigued with both. And I’m sure both tables are looking at me and knowing I’m totally listening. Let’s hope they don’t read this blog!
But on to miss Lauren. I was so excited to do her senior portraits that included not only her horse, Manny, but also her two pups. Lauren is pretty much the sweetest 18 year old around. We met up this weekend on Saturday on the most beautiful sunny afternoon. Lauren is so lucky she gets to spend her days with Manny at such a gorgeous location–it felt like I was photographing in a storybook. And Manny was so calm and easy to shoot–it was an amazing, amazing day. Much thanks to Lauren’s mom, Tricia, for organizing everything!
Beautiful Lauren and her bestie…
Tricia and Lauren–twins!
BFFs.
Lauren, thanks for hanging out! You are beautiful and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for you! Tricia–always a pleasure to see you!
