This is really mean of me. Bethany and Jeff are on their honeymoon and I’m sending their wedding gallery to them. I know Bethany is going to get the link and not want to sight see or do anything other than look at every.single.photo. Because she’s exactly the type of person that knows how important pictures are. And I know that she’ll be so happy to see pictures of her and her husband Jeff, but moreso, is anxiously awaiting to see the photographs of her friends and family who were there to witness their marriage. Because all along, both Bethany and Jeff talked about how important it was to them that their guests had a good time at their wedding. With almost everyone traveling (even from EGYPT!) to see them get married, these two made sure that everyone had a great time–from a delicious rehearsal dinner the night before, to taking everyone to a Boston Bruins game on the night they arrived, to surprising everyone with the world’s most epic first dance that ended with the bride and groom Irish step dancing. This wedding was about so much more than the bride and groom.
Bethany’s dream was to get married at the Boston Public Library. Isn’t it everyone’s? As a teacher and avid reader, it was the perfect venue to host her wedding which was a mix of joy and emotion. Bethany added so many little special details that touched my heart. From sewing in parts of her mother’s dress into hers, to making Jeff a bow tie from fabric from her gown, to the father-of-the-bride speech and dance that left me a puddle on the floor. This day was so special and I know it’s just the kickstart to the rest of Bethany & Jeff’s happy life together.
