Howwwwwwww in the world can today be Thursday when it feels so much like a Friday?  It’s been a very long, very rainy week in Boston and work just keeps dragging on and on and on.  All I want to do is curl up on the couch and watch Lifetime movies, but this whole 9-5 thing keeps getting in my way.

This week could also feel especially long because it’s following an amazing weekend that I spent in Buffalo with my family.  I miss them so much and I wish weekends like the one we just had, happened more often.  While I was home, I managed to convince my adorable little cousin Lauren and her handsome fiance, Ryan, to let me shoot my first mini-engagement session.  (Disclaimer: I constantly refer to Lauren as my “little cousin” even though she is obviously a grown woman…it tends to give me more street cred to have a “little” cousin when I explain to others that my family still participates in annual Easter egg hunts and watches the Christmas Story on repeat for days in December.)  Lauren and Ryan are pretty much the cutest couple I have ever seen.  I had to stop myself from reaching over the camera and pinching their cheeks in every shot.  And of course I made them do plenty of kissing shots to see if they’d crack under the pressure of our other “little” onlooking cousins yelling “ew gross” in the background…but they didn’t.  They’re cool like that.  My only regret is that my camera couldn’t possibly capture their complete cuteness.

Is it April yet? So excited to have a new family member to squeeze around the table at holidays.  The Josef wedding is going to be the BEST EVER!!!
