My brain is mush.  I don’t know what happened.  I used to be able to hold information in my head for weeks at a time and now, I swear, I can’t remember what I did two seconds ago.  I’m also having a hard time recalling words…not to claim I had an extremely extensive vocabulary in the past, but simple little words I cannot for the life of me gather.  I had a conversation with a friend the other day and couldn’t pull the word “costume” from my apparently broken brain.  Costume!  And on Friday, as I was unloading my car, I tried locking the door from my automatic key chain, and when that didn’t work, I manually opened up the driver’s side door to lock and walked away.  When I came back down an hour later, I realized the reason the key chain wouldn’t work is because I left the passenger’s side door wide open. What is wrong with me?  I’m certain that the decline of my brain cells has something to do with the useless information it’s been gathering while watching gobs of reality television this summer, but since I have the luxury for the next few months of blaming it on the little (or big!) peanut I’ve got growing in my belly…I’ll go with that.

And, if this peanut inside of me is ANYTHING like sweet baby Sophia, the deterioration of my brain will be absolutely worth it.  You might remember this little face from her newborn debut in February and although I didn’t think it was possible, she has just grown and gotten cuter and cuter since.  Sophia was the best little model and I loved that I got to spend a Friday afternoon with her and her parents on their 5th wedding anniversary.  Nicole and Jim are awesome…so easy to be around and so in love with their little girl.  And if my brain weren’t mush, I’d go on and on about how much I love this girl and this family..but lucky for you, I’m going to cut right to the chase and let you see these sweet cheeks for yourselves.

 

Nicole is the prettiest mama.  She is so laid back with her little girl–I hope I’ll be just the same.  

I have a slight(ly large) obsession with baby thighs.  The bigger the better!

I’m pretty sure Sophia was ready to call it a wrap at this point.  Thank you so much for letting me come back and visit!  You guys are THE best.
