I. AM. SO. TIRED. When will I ever STOP being so completely exhausted all the time?  By the time Leo was Nico’s age, he was sleeping through the night until 7:30 (and then taking two 2-hour naps).  I had it good.  And I didn’t quite realize it.  Now that we’ve moved, my kids are BOTH up bright and early at 5:30 (yes, we have blackout curtains and sound machines and neither have made the slightest difference) and my little friend Leo is afraid of the teeny tiny green light on his fire alarm in his room so he refuses to go to bed unless I sit in his room until he falls asleep, which has recently been 9:30 or 10.  I feel like the bags under my eyes are about to reach my chin.  So if anyone out there has any tips or magic pills to make my kiddos sleep past 6 am, I am all ears!

Kyla, who just had her little baby #2 can understand my pain I am certain (although I hope a year from now she is much more rested than I am!)  You will remember this little family from a first birthday photo session for adorable little Jake at Endicott Park last fall.  Little did we know at the time that Kyla was pregnant with little Ainsley here and actually found out that very night. Pretty awesome to have pictures the day you learned you are going to be a mama again, isn’t it?  Well Ainsley is here and she is complete doll and a teeny one at that!  She couldn’t want to meet her super giggly, super happy, big brother Jake any longer so she decided to pop out 4 weeks early.  Thank goodness her parents were organized and ready for her.  Kyla and Steve made the sweetest little family and I cannot wait to see where the world brings them.  I have a feeling we’ll see little Ainsley smile, sparkle, and shine under the bright lights of the stage at some point, so get used to seeing this little face of hers.
