Oh hello, friends! Hello, summer! I’m happy you are both here.
I have so much beautifulness to show you, I cannot wait, and I LOVE that I have time in the summer to share everything! I realized working full time and shooting weddings every weekend leaves little time to blog but plenty of time for your husband to improve his golf game. I mean, what else would a guy do when his pregnant wife is working 6-7 days a week but play multiple golf games every weekend I’m away? Who needs a clean house or a dog that gets exercise? Not me! Enjoy it now, Alex. Babysitting duty starts in just a few months!
So how about we start this little blog-marathon session that’s coming your way with Maggie and Charlie’s gorgeous wedding at Turner Hill? I was lucky enough to shoot this with the amazing Molly Anne and loved every second. While she was with the bride, I met up with the groom and his friends in Salem. Not going to lie, I always get major anxiety when shooting the guys first. I mean, what do I have to talk to guys about? They don’t watch Bravo, they usually hate getting their picture taken, and I find that you can only tell them they look nice one time before you start looking like a big old creep. But luckily, Charlie and his guys put my nerves at ease. They were so friendly, so nice, and didn’t mind me shoving my camera in their face every ten seconds and babbling on and on about things I’m sure they had absolutely no interest in. Not to mention, they warmed up with Fireball shots that they have convinced me has to be my first post-baby drink in the fall.
So here is the groom getting ready for the big day!
I know…you feel REAL bad that this is how I had to spend my morning, right?!
Charlie and Maggie did their first look at Turner Hill. I’m obsessed with Maggie’s dress…she looked like a Disney princess.
Doesn’t every girl hope to find a guy that looks at her the way Charlie does to Maggie?
Charlie and his mom melt my heart. She had the little handkerchief made for him to carry down the aisle from the song she used to sing to him when he was a baby.
And then Gramps showed up and made everyone cry!
Time to get hitched!
Maggie’s dad was the sweetest father-of-the-bride ever. Love this shot of them dancing with Charlie watching his bride.
One of Maggie’s cousins jumped up on the trombone with the band. How cute is this guy?
Gramps killed it on the dance floor!
Maggie and Charlie…wishing you so much happiness! And thanks to you both, and Molly, for letting me be a part of your big day!
All the best!
