Holy Snow!  We’re in New York right now and thought we were in the clear for the snow, but woke up to a winter wonderland over here.  Well, wonderland for Leo who likes to “dig” the flakes and not so wonderful for my dad and I who shoveled.  You know, the one really amazing thing about living in a condo in Boston is that we pay fees that pay for other people to shovel.  So when we wake up to a foot of snow, we can just snuggle up on the couch and watch someone else do the dirty work while we sip warm cocoa that we did not deserve.  But not here in upstate NY, my friends.  Here, we do it ourselves…and by ourselves, I really mean my dad does 90% in the time it takes me to shovel 10%, but then we both get rewarded with warm drinks from my mom when we’re done.

Blogging about one of my favorites right here.  Remember little Ollie?  I photographed him when his family moved into their gorgeous house last year.  Well, he just got a new room and a promotion to big brother when  his new little sister, Lola, entered the world in December.  (Cutest names ever, right?)  I spent a snuggly Sunday afternoon with him and his family before I left for New York.  I always love my time with this family because they are just so easy to be around and I’m completely obsessed with Sarah’s decorating so I always get lots of ideas when I’m there…as in I literally want to throw everything out in my house and have Sarah come over and redecorate every inch.

I’ve known Ollie since he was five weeks old, and I have to tell you, he is the BEST toddler.  I think Sarah might beg to differ slightly at times, but she doesn’t even know the half of it.  Ollie was an awesome baby, is an awesome toddler, and I know he is going to take his role as big brother in complete stride.  It’s so adorable to see him love on little Lola and gets me all teary-eyed to see them together, as if they’re my own…which Lola might be because I do plan to steal her someday and take her home with me when I need my little girl fix.
