You guys…
I just can’t even deal with this wedding. I am in love with it for so many reasons. For one, it happens to be the marriage of two of the most fun and loving people I know and I am SO happy that they fell in love and were able to celebrate that love through marriage. It also happens to be the very first wedding I booked and the fact that these two took a chance on me being part of their day means there’ll always be this special place in my heart that that I’ll hold especially for Jared and Kyle. Annnd because there was so much stinkin’ love and happiness at this wedding, by not only the grooms, but all of the people who attended, that it made my heart want to leap out of my chest. There’s actually a little piece of me that is bummed that I’m posting this blog because it means I have to stop staring at the pictures for days on end.
Kyle and Jared met through a community theater performance they both were involved in, fell in love, and the rest is history (and adorably documented
here). Even though the two reside in Arizona (and now Dallas because they are literally moving as your pretty little eyes glide over this post), they decided to get hitched in Kyle’s hometown in Cape Cod. And although they could have used the iconic beach as their backdrop, they fell in love with the bridge in Buzzard’s Bay and planned their industrial chic wedding around it. The wedding party was filled with their closest friends, most of whom are also performers, making my job a cinch and the wedding super unique as they all were involved in their own special ways.
You know what? I could go on…but I’m just going to zip my little lips over here and let you see Kyle and Jared’s big day in all it’s glory.
Hi Kyle! (Isn’t he handsome?)
And here is Jared…he has one of those smiles that goes on for days. Just loved him.
The guys got ready in condos near the beach, but when I asked where they wanted their first look, they opted for this funky blue fence up the street. I like that about them.
Kyle’s guys!
Jared’s BFFs.
And here is their son, Aleksandr. 15 and oh so fun! (And yes, those are REAL bow ties…no clip ons for this group!)
Kyle and Jared thought of (and created) every detail. The ring bearer’s pillow was made from Kyle’s mother’s wedding dress.
Here come the grooms!
So I vowed when I started photographing that I would never do the cliche jumping photos…but c’mon…when your groomsman jump like this, how can you resist?
Best wedding party. Ever.
Kyle’s best friend sang their first dance song while Rob played the piano. Still gives me chills.
And I think my favorite part was when Blake played the song he wrote for Kyle and Jared. Most beautiful thing ever. I’m waiting to get my hands on a copy when the CD is released!
Ahhh! Kyle and Jared, I don’t want to say goodbye to your wedding! Will you do it all over again, please???
Much love forever and ever!
