Happy Monday y’all!  I’m coming off of a double header wedding weekend that was capped off with a combined 3rd birthday party for Leo and his Charlestown friends AND 1st birthday for all their little siblings.  17 kids celebrating their birthdays. Together.  That day alone made me more tired than two ten hour weddings. Whew!

Last week, Leo, Nico, and I packed our beach bags and headed down to the cape to meet up with Christine and Joey for their engagement session.  (Shout out to my mother-in-law and her friends for babysitting my little kiddos on the beach while I worked!)  I had met these two at Joey’s brother’s wedding in November and was literally crossing my fingers that they’d pick me to photograph their wedding, and luckily, a few months later, they did!  Now we get to celebrate another Scribi wedding and I couldn’t be more thrilled.

Christine had requested the engagement session in Dennis Port, their favorite place.  We started at Boston Improper, the place where they met, made a quick stop at their absolutely adorable beach house, and then headed over to a private beach to get photos.  Christine had mentioned via text that she would drive me to the beach, but failed to mention that Joey would be driving a bright blue Jeep outfitted perfectly for a photo session, even though it wasn’t their intention to include the car.  This session is definitely one of my favorites and to date, one of the most thrilling engagement sessions of all time.  These Scribis sure do know how to plan a photo session.

Joey and Christine, the countdown is ON!  Can’t wait for November, although I’d take twelve more summer nights like this one.
