A little blog dedication…

Well hello!

And welcome to my brand spankin’ new blog.  I am so excited to share my new and improved site with you and to finally put Janelle Carmela Photography out there for the world to see.  But before I do, there is a slew of people I need to thank for helping me get set up.

First and foremost, a gigantic shout out to the extremely talented and unbelievably patient Suzi Istvan of Social Suzi Designs, who spent countless hours helping me brand and design this blog.  For anyone looking for some web design help, she is simply the best!

Second, to Rachel Buckley of Rachel Kate Photography—thank you for letting me pick your brain with every photography question that came to my mind, for showing me things that would have taken me years to learn, and of course, for introducing me to my new favorite wine. I have learned more from you in a single afternoon than I have in any photography course!

And now, to my photography start up team…

My editor, chief, and all-around world-wizard, Rosie Colosi.  I owe you at least 1,546 hours of your life back. So lucky to have a sister who just so happens to be the smartest human being alive. (WriteWithRosie.com)

My technology director and explainer of the World Wide Web, Rich Colosi.  Thanks for all the late night explanations on how to work my newfangled computer and for spending countless hours loading programs and helping me learn how to use them.

My decision maker and “Which picture do you like better?” selector, Christen Imbriano.  Seriously, I don’t know how you put up with me.

My marketing director, Andrea Bruno.  Thanks for promoting my business even before my business existed!  (And a little shout out to Joe Bruno who I know is cheering me on from above and with his own Nikon hanging around his neck!)

My practice model and fluffy little photography assistant, Sauce.

My lifetime support team, Richard and Cecilia Colosi.  I don’t know many parents who would be quite so calm after hearing their daughter tell them that she wants to do something other than what she went to eight years of college for!

My business director, financial backer, and #1 cheerleader, Alex Bruno.  I love that you’ve convinced me that every purchase I’ve made is an “investment in our future,” that you wait until I’m trapped in a car for a long ride to force me to create business plans, and that you’ve never once flipped out over all the times I’ve made you wait in the middle of a street so I can take “just one more” picture.

I love you all!

And now, without further adieu…
