I had a really fun weekend and my brain is fried, so I wish I could put together something interesting for you guys to read on your Monday, but all that’s coming to mind is “blah”. That and the fact that I’m totally distracted by the little green needles from our Christmas tree that somehow keep showing up even though I spent HOURS vacuuming all those suckers down yesterday. HOW do they manage to keep resurfacing?

For my first blog of 2019, I’m sharing the last baby I photographed in 2018. I met sweet little Mila on a cold, early morning and there really is no better way to start a day than with a warm and cozy newborn session. I love little Mila: I love her name. I love her parents. I love her house and I love her session. We got some really beautiful light when the sun started rising which was the icing on the cake of an already great session. And I have to give major kudos to Mila’s mommy, Jenna, who is one of the few people I know that is put together enough to agree to an early morning photo shoot—Lord knows I couldn’t even get out of my pjs when my kids were a week old.  And I’m pretty sure I haven’t seen a dad as smitten with his baby girl as Christopher.  He loved every inch of her and I know she is going to be spoiled rotten–as she well deserves.  Here’s a few shots from our morning.  Look how alert Mila was!
