Much to my husband’s chagrin (don’t you just love that word?) I have decided to make taking a photo in front of Monica’s in the North End a yearly anniversary tradition–lucky him! Our wonderful, talented amazing photographer/mentor/idol/friend, Rachel, had the vision to take a photo of us here on our wedding day in 2010 and we used it as a backdrop for our photo booth at our wedding in 2011. Continuing on with this tradition just makes complete sense in my mind and absolutely none in my husband’s. Good thing he’s such a nice guy…
We had to include Sauce in the picture this year because he tried to eat a little old Italian woman and couldn’t be trusted unattended. He couldn’t take his attention away from the sausage cart long enough to look at the camera, but I still think this shot is a keeper.
