Meet Mason! | Boston Newborn Photographer
It’s Friday night and I just finished cleaning my house. And after I write this blog, I’m going to put together two ceiling fans and an outdoor scones. Times sure have changed. But I am feeling motivated to get our house in shape–people often ask me how I am home with the boys full time and running a business. And the answer is that when you’ve got lots of balls in the air, you let one drop. And mine has been my house. We moved in a year and half ago and things have not been put in their place yet. So I am on a mission this winter to get these place in shape. So far, I’ve just done a lot of shopping and not making progress on any of the improvements or decluttering. But none of those things interest me so I’m just going to keep buying. Terrible plan, I know, but it’s just so fun!
I think part of my desire to decorate our house is that I’m in all these fabulous homes of my clients! Alexa and Garrett’s South End penthouse condo made my jaw drop. The big tall ceilings, the tufted couch at the kitchen table, the antelope runners down the rounded staircase…it was beyond gorgeous and I wish I showed you more in these photos. But I was too focused on baby Mason who is so stinking cute I just want to eat him. I visited Mason and his family on the second to last day of 2018 and he really was the perfect way to end my year. He was beyond adorable, as you can see, and so super sweet. He also was gigantic, and you guys know how much I love a big baby. I spent the morning getting to know this new little family and reminiscing about the Finger Lakes with Alexa, who grew up on the next lake over from me. I’m so glad our paths crossed (perhaps again?) because she is a sweet heart, like all of her friends I’ve worked with. And anyone who has MacKenzie Child’s in their Boston home is a friend of mine.
Magazine worthy. Who looks like this after giving birth?!
Quick snooze break.
An acrylic crib. (Things I would totally splurge on if I was having my first!)
Did I mention Mason is his daddy’s twin?
Absolutely adore you guys, as I knew I would! Have so much fun with your new little man.
