OK, before I get into the thick of it with little Viv’s newborn session, let’s just get some things out of the way.
YES, Scott and Stephanie have four kids.
YES, they wanted all four of these kids.
NO, they are not crazy.
YES, they ALL wanted a baby girl.
NO, they didn’t keep having babies until they had one, four was always the plan.
YES, they are planning to leave the city (hold on…have to wipe away some of my tears before I continue…)
YES those little boys love that little girl. HARD.

Now that all of your questions are answered I have to tell you about how sweet this family is. They welcomed their fourth baby, little Viv, into their home a few weeks ago. And I cannot tell you enough how under control Steph and Scott had things. The boys were awesome: they listened to my directions, they were happy, they were adjusting to baby #4 so well and they were so fun to photograph, as they always are. Their how was immaculate, which I’m still not sure how that’s possible even with one child, and little Viv slept for almost our entire session even with the 1,000,000 kisses her brothers gave her. Steph and Scott are doing things right. They need to write a book.

Here’s a glimpse into their city livin’ lives. This session wasn’t as clam as some of the others, because four kids is still four kids, but I absolutely love what we captured. The fun, the chaos, the JOY of a big family. And although I know this family plans to scoot out of the city, I hope they’ll stay close enough that I can see how they all continue to grow and kick a&$ at the big family thing. You guys are my heros, for sure.
