Oh I’m so happy to introduce to you the sweetest and best little baby, Miss Emily. I got to hang with her and her beautiful family in Marblehead last week where we spent a few snuggly hours together. My Charlestown friends may recognize Emily’s mama, Sarah, as the owner of Ctown Cycle, the kicka$* spin studio near the Navy Yard. And although I have only gotten my booty over there once, I can promise you that the instructors and the space there are phenomenal, and to top it off, they have a class WITH childcare during the day! Talk about smart business ownership. And knowing that Sarah is an athlete should have left me less surprised in the fact that she greeted me at the door not only looking amazing and like she had never been pregnant, but also saying she felt RESTED. Yes, this beautiful little baby is letter her mom and dad SLEEP and although I am completely excited for them, I found myself a tad bit jealous in the fact that my boys never, ever, let me feel that good so early. I also never ever had my life together as early as Emily either who somehow managed to find the World’s Most Perfect top to wear in newborn photos (wait till you see the sleeves).

Little Emily is so lucky to be born into a family that has so much love for her—and some pretty fabulous genes to boot. I know her big cousin, Hudson, who you’ll meet on this blog soon, is going to show her all the ropes. And I feel very lucky to have this family in our Charlestown community.
