You guys…my parents are here. WOOHOO! So that means I’ve had a chance to do things for myself, like shop for items I’ve needed for wayyyy too long. I had a list to get at Sephora so I decided to get my makeup done there in hopes to find a new lip color (did you guys know you can get a FREE makeover there if you spend $50, which is basically the cost of one lip gloss at that place? It’s an amazing perk and the staff is awesome and knowledgeable.) I loved the girl that did my makeup, but I think we had two definitions of the word, “natural”. My definition was that I wanted to look like myself, but a more polished and put together version. The makeup artist’s vision was quite different, however, and I believe she thought I asked to pile on the makeup on slap on some fake lashes that were about three inches long and color my lips purple. PURPLE. What part of purple lips screams natural? Oy.
I’ve been just itching to get this session up because I loved it so much. Chris, Lindsey, and friend/cake baker/dog wrangler extrodinaire, Kristen, headed off to the beach for Chris and Lindsey’s engagement session. The weather was beautiful, the location was magical, and for a mid-afternoon session on the beach, I’m totally loving the images we managed to get. Chris and Lindsey are abbbbsolute sweethearts. They are fun, they are charming and you can just see the love flowing between the two of them. Luckily for me, they brought their two gorgeous puppies for the pictures who were probably the most well behaved and photogenic creatures on the planet.
Can’t wait for Newport, my loves!
