Kaia & Bradley, Two of my Favorite Little Peanuts | Danvers, MA

I don’t get September. We’re supposed to have a good 20 days of summer left, and here I sit in Starbucks, wearing close toed shoes and smelling nothing but pumpkin spice lattes. Fall would be great, if it started when it’s supposed to, but I feel completely robbed of my last few days of beaches and bathing suits.  I might feel differently if I didn’t work full time in a school and didn’t have to surrender sleeping in past 6am every time September rolls around…but, then again, if I didn’t work in a school, I wouldn’t get to meet all the fabulous people I work with…fabulous people like my friend, Lisa. Lisa taught 5th grade across the hall from my office my first year where I was like the awkward little freshman entering high school for the first time not knowing anyone, and she was like the pretty high school senior who I wanted to be. Besides being beautiful, Lisa had a closet that I completely envied and on top of it all, was a complete sweetheart. After I got over my freshmanitis, we quickly bonded over finding hair dressers that can actually style thick hair, having fathers who enjoy shopping, and America’s favorite family, the Kardashians. I loved working with Lisa. But one day, she decided to have a beautiful baby and and stay home with little Kaia, leaving me Kardashion-less at school with no one to talk to about the gigantic rock Lamar gave Chloe or Kim’s ten second marriage to Kris Humphries. So you can imagine my excitement when Lisa got in touch to take pictures of now 3-year-old Kaia, and her little brother Bradley.

We met up at Endicott Park and Lisa stepped out of her car looking as glamorous as ever with her two little peanuts. Little Kaia ran right up to me and gave my leg a squeeze, while Bradley grabbed my fingers as we walked along the path, and I fell in love with them immediately. Kaia and Bradley were such good models and I loved every second of them.

Looking at these little faces, I can definitely see why Lisa abandoned me at work. Who wouldn’t want to stay home with these two?

Kaia & Bradley, you two are the best! Lisa, I’m so happy we got together, but we must do it again…we’ve got lots of North West talking to do!
