Wednesday.  Hump Day.  That means we’re halfway through Alex’s Germany trip and I just woke up from a two hour nap.  Yup, I dropped the boys off at school, grabbed myself a gigantic cup of coffee and didn’t drink a sip, then ran home and crawled back in bed.  Not even out of exhaustion but out of pure need to have a mental shutdown for an extended period of time.  My house is a wreck.  A complete mess. And my inbox is exploding (and if you’re reading this and I owe you an email I swear I will get to it!) but I just needed a respite for a few hours.  I swear I’ll be back on my A game next week.  But from now until then I’m going to continue to eat peanut butter cups and whine.  Cool?

I’m so glad I finally got a chance to blog this little babe though.  He is so sweet and cuddly and alert and the hunky little boyfriend of my girl, Hadley.  I loved getting to know him and his Peloton-riding-parents (yup, totally geeked out when I saw one in their condo!)  They are pretty much the poster family for perfection and I cannot wait to watch them all grow up together.  I’ve been pushing for Hadley to move to Charlestown and now I’m praying that she’ll take Ryder with her, so look at this blog as if you’re looking at my new neighbors!
