Handsome Harrison | Boston Newborn Photographer

This rain is brutal, am I right?  Alex and I just got back from Aruba on Sunday (which I cannot wait to tell you about.  We were there to shoot my FIRST destination wedding and I’m looking forward to shooting many more.  Not to mention having Alex work for me was amazing and definitely gave me a big head, if only for a few days.) I was praying that when we got back the sun would stick around.  Maybe next week?  I can’t even look at the forecast because it makes me too sad.

I’m introducing you to a few new faces today and letting you say hello to some JCP professionals along the way.  You could not possibly forget the ever adorable Lizette and Isla because they are so stinking cute. Well, these two recently became older cousins to the extremely handsome Harrison.  I was thrilled when I heard there was going to be another cutie in the family because I knew that if this little guy was going to be anything like his two older cousins, my job would be a piece of c-a-k-e.  And boy was I right.  Harrison is seriously so strikingly handsome at 14 days old, like beauuuutiful.   It was amazing. I was also amazed that Chantal, Lizette and Isla’s mommy hadn’t told me how incredible her house was.  We used her space to photograph and my jaw dropped when I walked in.  You’ll see for yourself in a minute, but I’m fairly certain that my whole family could move into the west wing of her home and she probably wouldn’t even know we were there.  Which was perfect for taking pictures of Chantal’s new nephew.  Harrison’s mommy, Kyle, and my new intern, Lizette, hid upstairs and took about a gagillion pictures before I forced the session to move to the kitchen.  Weird to do photos of a newborn in a kitchen?  Maybe so, but when you see it, you’ll understand why it was a necessity.

I love spending time with new moms.  Usually I get to hear all about their pregnancies and births, learn how they are dealing with the struggles of being a new mommy, and offer help if it’s needed.  But in Kyle’s case, I literally just got to sit back and watch her.  Not only had she had an easy pregnancy and quick labor, but she was familiar with babies and was like a pro with little Harrison.  Her laid back attitude made her transition to parenthood simple and watching her smooth way with her little guy made me happy.

See for yourself! Introducing you to Kyle and her new beau, Harrison.

This top picture is totally me.  Every single day.

Ended with my favorite!  Kyle, congratulations and enjoy your peanut.  You are a wonderful mother.  And Chantall, thanks for your beautiful pad.  Tell Lizette, my assistant, her paycheck is coming in the mail!
