Ugh. I’m annoyed.

If you know me at all, you know that I’m plauged with a constant case of homesickness that apparently gets more and more severe as time goes on.  Not that I don’t love every square foot of Boston and the people here, because I do, but living away from my family makes my heart heavy.  And it was already hard enough…and then…THEN…my brother and sister-in-law had to go and have a baby.  A really stinking adorable little baby.  A little baby who is so teeny tiny and so sweet that all I want to do is sit and hold her little self all day long…but I can’t because I live too far away.  So throw an adorable little baby on top of already being bummed to be away from my family, and it feels like my heart is being squished in a vice with someone slowly cranking it tighter and tighter. I guess I’m grateful for technology and the fact that my brother sends me a picture-a-day after receiving at least ten of my daily “send me a picture of the baby” texts.  And I’m grateful that no matter how far away I am, I get to be this little angel’s auntie and part of her life forever.

So I’m going to stop yakking and introduce you to this new sweet little pea that is breaking my heart to be away from!

Still can’t believe my brother is a daddy!  But can I just tell you…I’ve never, ever seen a happier one.

I have to give credit to this photo to my brother.  If you know him, you know he is a big kid at heart and I think was just as excited about having a reason to buy toys as he was to become a father.  I’m pretty sure Cameron has a crush on Fozzie Bear (can ya blame her?).

To my sweet baby niece, I love you so much! I can’t wait for all the fun we are going to have together!
