Holy heat wave! I AM LOVING IT and I hope you are too!  After all the rain, I will take 97 degrees any day especially now that we are close enough to walk to all the splash parks downtown.

We had a whopper of a weekend.  It started in Cape Cod on Friday night for the first half of a girls weekend in Truro before getting up bright and early for Tracy and Jomo’s wedding at Granite Links (that I am dyyying to share with you!) and then got up at FOUR in the morning on Sunday for a reason I still cannot get Leo to explain to me before we hung out at the Bunker Hill parade yesterday.  After I finished a client meeting last night, I literally slid into bed and was passed out by 9pm.  Big shout out to Alex for holding down the fort while I was away and a shout to myself for successfully watching the kids on two consecutive nights of 4 hours of sleep while he golfed all day on Sunday–not that I’m holding it against him, of course.

I’d also like to give a big thankssss to him for introducing me to Heather and her adorable and sweet as can be family to take pictures of Claire’s very first birthday.  We spent a really beautiful Sunday at one of my favorite spots on the North Shore, Endicott Park, before the skies opened up and poured for like the 1,000,000 time in June and Claire showed me all of her tricks like running, jumping, climbing and being as cute as can be with her gummy little grin and her little red hair that made me super jealous.  Heather and Matt were the perfect combination of laid back and super prepared–game for whatever but ready with ideas, distractions, and lots of baby wipes.  Total professionals.   We ended our little session with an outfit change where Claire put on the same dress her mommy and her aunts all wore in their first birthday photos.  LOVE.

Picture perfect…

That smile!

Guys, you were the best and I just loved every second of our little Sunday together.
