The best part of this job is getting to connect with so many new families, and in this case, connect with families that I’ve met but just haven’t been gutsy enough to make friends with. I mean, they are a little intimidating, don’t you think? Hallie is gorgeous and always so put together—and her hair! She has two adorable little boys that are always so perfectly behaved and follow directions and so so so cute. And rumor has it, her husband is some sort of crazy talented hockey athlete…now if you know me, you know I know 0 things about hockey. Ray Bourque came up to talk to me once and I told him I had no clue who he was (which I’m still mortified about ). But you also will know that I get completely star struck over any kind of connection, so I just assumed that Brian knows famous people, in which case makes HIM famous, and that totally intimidates me. So yes, I had known Hallie and her family for years now, and getting to photograph them and force my friendship on them was so perfect. So thank you, Hallie, for giving me this chance to practice my ability to play it cool around you guys. How’d I do?
And speaking of cool…you’d think that an October session would yield sweaters and long sleeves, except when it happens to be 80+ degrees on the day you shoot. While I sweat my buns off, this family still managed to be stay so cool.
So great spending time with you guys! See you in Town soon!!
