I love how some things are just meant to be.   Caitlin and Steve’s engagement session, for example.  We had tried to schedule this last fall, and then again later in the year, but Mother Nature had other plans in store for us.  With their wedding just days away we decided to squeeze in a shoot this past Friday, and of course, the forecast predicted, you guessed it, rain.  But by some act of God the drops held off until the exact moment we stopped shooting, and the clouds created the perfect amount of light to photograph in during our session.  I could not have been more thrilled with how these pictures turned out.  A gorgeous couple, a dress with tons of life, and a venue with so much character.  Give me alllll the shoots with these two!

Caitlin and Steve are a dynamic couple.  She claimed that they would be awkward, but I didn’t believe her (and I was correct).  They can pose and seem so natural in front of the camera.  Perhaps because their love is so authentic.  I am seriously counting down the days (because there are really just a few) until I get to work with them again.
