Well aren’t you just getting a nice little tour of the North Shore!  Close to where I went apple picking with Clare and Owen, I got to take a tour of Endicott Park with my new little friends Brendan and Emily.  Now, I know that I moved to Boston to be close to a city, but living near the North Shore is a major bonus.  What’s at the North Shore you say?  Miles upon miles of beautiful beaches, little New England towns that make you feel like you are walking through a movie set and people that have real Boston accents.  Real Boston accents like Brendan and Emily’s mom who I overheard having a conversation as to whether she got her “car” pictures taken at the beach.  Why in the world would someone want a car picture taken, I thought when I overheard this conversation.  It wasn’t until I quickly did a translation in my head that I realized “car” pictures were really carD pictures, as in Christmas card photos, and of course I invited myself to help!  We nixed the beach idea (too overdone) and headed to Endicott Park.  Endicott Park, my friends, is one of the reasons why the North Shore is so amazing. It’s this little plot of land with old antique barns, a pond, and actual chickens that just roam the land.  It also happens to be absolutely perfect for picture taking and I was lucky enough to have these two adorable models with me that were willing to pose.

Brendan and Emily may quite possibly be the two happiest kids in the world. I have never seen a brother and sister pair who got along better or loved each other more.  (I think the only interaction my brother and I had when we were younger is him practicing his Hulk Hogan wrestling moves on me in the backyard…not my idea of fun. Besides the point…) They immediately ran to this little barn and started killing it:

Heartbreaker…

And then the heavens opened up and dropped this perfectly racked leaf pile for us to play in  that I am positive the Endicott Park staff was just thrilled about.  I am in love with this shot of Emily.  This girl knows how to have a good time:

So so so happy!  Thanks for letting me play guys!  (And Brendan, don’t ever stop being so sweet to your little sis!)
