So Nico is super into Barney right now. Like old school Barney because I don’t think it’s been remade yet. It’s annoying. The clean up song gets stuck in my head as well as the theme song. (You know, good old, “I love you, you love me. We’re a happy family.”…is it in your head now too?) But there is NOTHING in the world cuter than his little lisp singing along with that big annoying purple dinosaur and answering the questions that Barney rhetorically asks. And Barney is so stinking innocent. They sing about friendship, and colors, and being nice. It’s so sweet. I hope he never falls out of love with Barney.
Cute leads me up to baby Nolan. He is THE most adorable four month old in the world. And his expressions! I met up with his mommy, Kaitlin, and daddy, Tyson and we strolled around Charlestown on a beautiful and super hot afternoon. I loved hearing how Kaitlin and Tyson are managing as new parents (really, really well, is the answer) and learning more about their Texas roots (while I asked a million stereoptypical questions about being a Texan—and no, he wasn’t wearing cowboy boots) and all about their wedding at Boston Public Library with the world’s best coordinator, my friend, Erin!
We started near Zumes! Everyone’s favorite coffee shop.
