Whyyyyy?  Why can’t I be one of those people with self control that doesn’t feel the need to shove every single piece of food she comes across in her mouth? I had an awesome weekend full of photoshoots that all involved delicious food.  Now I know that I should be on my best behavior at work and not shove food in my mouth, but I can’t help myself.  Friday’s shoot had apple cider donuts from Smolak Farm that were absolutely amazing.  I had three.  Saturday’s bride got ready surrounded by the most unbelievable homemade potato chips and I couldn’t help but shove piles in my mouth by the fist full while everyone else displayed much more control than I and were probably horrified by my behavior.  But I caaaaan’t help it.  Food is just so yummy.  As is this scrumptious little peanut I’m about to share with you.  She even looks more enticing than this Italian cookie I’m about to devour.

Baby Kate.  Isn’t she so scrumptious?  I’ve been texting her mama all day while I edited her images telling her how I want to nibble on her tiny little toes.  We had waited a very long time for her arrival and I was thrilled when she finally arrived on labor day (great joke, Kate!)  And last week I got to go to her house and spend the morning with her and her ridiculously adorable parents who are head over heels for their baby girl.  Why wouldn’t they be?  Kate is just so squishy and cute and is one of the best babies I’ve seen.  She slept for 99% of our shoot and made my job easy.  I felt like I was just hanging all day with Hannah and Mike and posing a doll because she did not seem bothered in the slightest by being moved or changed.  I hope she keeps her chill attitude and makes the rest of the days easy on Hannah and Mike.

Hannah and Mike, I’m still wondering where the bags under your eyes are new-parent nerves are…you two were made for parenthood and it looks good on you!  Kate is the luckiest, as am I for getting to meet you both! Enjoy that yummy little girl!
