You guys…

I love this shoot! You know my little sis, Skyler? Well you can imagine my pure excitement when she came over a few weeks ago to ask if I could take her MATERNITY photos! After my sleep deprived brain put two and two together and I realized that maternity meant little Sky Sky was going to be a mama, and better yet, be a mama WITH ME, I literally jumped out of my seat with excitement. And then, when she told me I didn’t have to wait nine long months to find out the sex of her little baby like I made her do with mine AND that she wanted to do a gender reveal session in just a couple of days was pretty much the icing on the cake (mmmm…cake…I love cake…but back to business..). I just love Skyler’s idea of finding out the sex of her baby. Her and her hubs Zach wanted to involve their entire family in the reveal of the gender of their little one, but at the same time wanted to share a special moment with just the two of them…and me, of course. So they did a little Etsy shopping and put together this little plan. They bought a pinata and had it filled the color of streamers that corresponded with the sex of their little peanut.  They’d open the pinata alone and have me there to capture the moment, and when they were ready, share the pictures with family and friends. It seriously was the perfect plan and I honestly feel so so blessed to have been with them at that time.

Does the baby look like a boy? Or a girl? Hmm….

It’s a….BOY!  BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY! I am in love with Zach’s face.  He was spilling with happiness.






Skyler and Zach, you two are going to make the world’s best parents.  I feel so honored to have been able to document this once in a lifetime moment.  And the fact that Leo is getting a new best friend/cousin in June makes me so so so happy.  It’s meant to be!
