OK, this post might go down in history as the fastest one I’ve ever got up! I just left Gia and Nate’s house about 3.5 hours ago, raced to a Starbucks to edit this, and extended my childcare because I REALLY wanted to get these to them today, on their sweet little Anson’s first birthday. I remember how special and emotional the first birthday is and it was super important to me to have these images in their hands TODAY so they could get a glimpse of the happiness they’ve created for their little guy.
But I’ve only got 20 minutes before I have to get the kiddos and I have to make a stop at McDonalds on my way home…because when you work late, fast food is a must, right? 😉 So I’ve got to make this quick.
Gia and Nate are not new to the JCP blog. Their wedding was one of my firsts and they introduced me to my very favorite restaurant, Commonwealth Cambridge, a few years ago (and I am SO excited to go back there twice this year!!) Anywho it was so touching to be invited back in their lives to help them celebrate their little guy—who is so so good. I loved getting a glimpse into their new lives in the ‘burbs (Gia, come visit me in the city annyyyyytime!) and seeing this adorable little man they created. THANK YOU for having me back. It’s really an honor.
Love the cake Gia’s sister made. And I’d like to request a slice of her eclair pie, please!
We could not get Anson to eat the cake. Only human alive that didn’t want to dig into that thing!
