I am so glad that I saved blogging this post for gross, snowy February (which, for being the shortest month of the year, sure does feel extremely long!) because there is nothing that can cure the winter blues more then sunshine, sand, and sisters.
And my friend, Jill, is the mother of the sweetest set. These two are single handedly the reason why I need to have a daughter. The way Jill talks about these girls is the most adorable thing…they literally light up her whole face and I love asking her what they are up to (at the risk of sounding like a total creep, I also like to live vicariously through them and their high school/college lives…so much more fun than being a boring old adult!) I totally admire the relationship Jill has with her girls. I mean, aren’t teenage daughters supposed to despise their mothers at this stage in their life? Not Jill’s girls. They were begging to have pictures with their mama, even though she tried to refuse. The three of them have so much fun together and I can only hope I have a similar relationship with my own kids in a decade or so.
Aren’t they gorgeous?
Jill wanted to grab a shot of them with buns in their hair, as they usually are. I love that.
I’m so glad that these girls realize what a good thing they’ve got going with Jill as a mom. She is one of my favorite people ever and I’m so lucky to have her in my life. I miss seeing your face everyday, friend! Starbucks, soon? Or better yet, sangria? Please?
Can I hug these pictures? Because I want to. Loved spending the morning with you all–I hope you always stay as close as you are today!
