Tracy & Jomo’s Granite Links Wedding | Boston Wedding Photographer

Second wedding blog post of the year and second tropical-themed celebration.  How much do I love that?  When I edited Paige & Doug‘s Aruban destination wedding, I could not get the Beach Boys song out of my head, and this time my mind has had Bob Marley on repeat while editing this bad boy right here.  Tracy and Jomo‘s Jamaican wedding at Granite Links (special shout out to the amazing staff there who I will see THREE more times this year! Woohoo!) was something special, for sure.  Not just because I’ve known these two for years and think the world of them, or because we got the most amazing sunset in a season full of rain, or because I was able to capture my 40-something cousin have a dance off with a 20-something who could rival Michael Jackson’s moves, but because these two are so effortlessly meant for one another.

Admittedly, Tracy and Jomo were both a little nervous on the morning of their wedding and as I bounced back and forth between their rooms to take the getting ready photos I could see the nerves bubbling up, but the minute the doors of the church opened and their eyes met, this overwhelming sense of calm took over as Tracy’s jaw literally dropped when she saw Jomo’s tears streaming down his face.  It was priceless. And perfect. And they spent the rest of the day being one another’s sense of calm as they were married in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their family and friends.  And I’m quite certain I have never seen a happier couple announced man and wife.  See for yourself…

My beautiful girl…

BOOM.
Tracy and Jomo, I know you’ll be my life forever, and I’m so happy that I was with you on such a special day.  SO MUCH LOVE.
